Playing With Solar: Playing with Solar is a video making workshop that aims at promoting a greater awareness about renewable energies - solar in particular - among Maldivian kids. This project comes as the educational part of Benefits of Using Renewable Energies for Maldivian Communities and Marine Ecosystems, a project financed by Caritas Italiana and the University of Milano-Bicocca. the main objective is reducing the amount of diesel- based energy production on F. Magoodhoo by replacing it with clean solar energy. A solar power plant will be built on the island to provide renewable energy for everyone and to power a sustainable form of development for Magoodhoo.
